His unique craft portrays life endurance and ambition, street, idealism, and the ferocious mentality of a hip hop artist. The most distinct characteristic of his lyrics is the way he organizes his “words” into “play.” He is a rapper like none other. Trey Deuce is a member of a group called “ILL-LOGIC”, created by him and two other members of the group. Trey Deuce started rapping when he was only six years old. The nickname “Trey Deuce” was given to him by his dad when he was young. Trey Deuce's favorite rap group was “Outkast” when he was young. When Trey got older he began to take interest in the rapper Lil Wayne. Trey Deuce was amazed with his lyrical techniques by the usage of figurative language. Then, Trey started looking into a rapper named Elzhi. Trey thought Elzhi was the most lyrical rapper he’d ever heard. Trey Deuce also liked the rapper named Tech N9ne because of his creative use of word play and rapid deliverance. All of these rappers together made Trey Deuce more ferocious than ever. Trey said that nothing inspired him to write. He just did it because he felt as though it was his destiny to do so. Trey feels like music is his life; therefore, he couldn't live without it.
